The College ROOS Care service provides care for children:
ROOS Care supports FCAC’s mission statement: to provide consistency in expectations and the physical, cognitive and emotional growth of students. ROOS Care value providing a welcoming, safe, non-judgmental and educational inspired service for children, families and the wider community. The service implements the framework for school aged care in Australia, ‘My Time, Our Place.’ This framework assists educators to provide children with opportunities to maximise children’s potential whilst developing a foundation for future success.
The ROOS Care service is licensed by The Office of Early Childhood Education and Care the Office of Early Childhood Education and Care under the Education Care Services National Law Act and complies with the Education and Care Services National Regulations Dec 2011 under the Australian Governments National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education and Care. The National Quality Standard is a key aspect of the National Quality Framework and sets a benchmark for quality education and care that includes the implementation of the framework for school aged care in Australia.
