Fraser Coast Anglican College provides an array of information technology resources and services to support student exploration and learning.
Students in our Junior and Middle school have access to a range of shared technology resources including desktop computers in core classrooms, specialist computer labs as well as many portable laptop class sets.
Students in our Middle and Senior school participate in our 'Anywhere, Anytime' 1 to 1 laptop program. This grants all students the benefit of an individual business-grade laptop for their curriculum and personal use. The laptop comes with an extensive suite of software packages with additional software supplied for specialist subjects like Music (Sibelius), Information Technology (Premiere, After Effects and Visual Studio) and Mathematics (Graphing Scientific Calculator). Students are not only able to utilise these computers on campus but take offsite to use at home.
Our Campus has an extensive wireless and wired network infrastructure services all curriculum buildings on campus.
Our centralised services offer all stakeholders (Parents, Students and Staff) access to critrical educational information and allows for modern communication between all parties. Our [email protected] portal is central to the delivery of these services.
Our ICT Helpdesk is manned by experienced IT professionals who support all students and staff in creating worthwhile and innovative learning experiences using information technologies.
